Chapter 19

Bobby pulled Tommy between his legs, getting him as close as possible after they sat on the blanket spread on top of Fig Hill. His wolf was restless and energized. Tommy’s scent mingled among the beer and sweet of his long night at the bar had him worked up, but there was things the two of them needed to discuss first

He leaned in, nuzzling the back of Tommy’s neck, inhaling deeply. “God, baby, you smell so good.” He nipped his ear,  cursing his forwardness as his own dick plumped, making the discussion fly from his mind. He took his fingers and moved Tommy’s head so he could get to the man’s sexy lips, claiming them deeply and demandingly. His wolf side demanded he get closer, leaving no room between them and ensuring that Tommy felt his hard cock.

Must not have spooked Tommy like he feared it would have, because Tommy moaned and increased the pressure applied to his lips and deepened their kiss, causing Bobby’s wolf to release an inward howl. Breathing became necessary, so Bobby ended the kiss with a nip to the lower lip and tugged Tommy back with him as he laid back on his side. He forced his hands to remain tight around his body, when they itched and longed to explore the skin that he could just catch sight of on Tommy’s lower back.

“Honey?”

“Yes, baby?”

“Why are you holding back?”

Just had that conversation with Daddy Simon earlier. Hadn’t expected to have it with Tommy, but least he asked instead of getting ticked off and storming away. “Not sure if it’s the innocence's I feel coming for you, or if someone hurt you bad, but you throwing off some fear and I don’t want you to fear me.”

“Shoot.” Tommy muttered. “I didn’t mean to do that. I’ve been with one other and he used me to increase his seat among Uncle Tony’s business.” Sickening. How could anyone use such a kind-hearted man so underhandedly? “When he realized it would not happen . . . He left. And was rude about it.” Tommy rubbed his brow and gave a small, sigh smile. “I don’t mind us taking it slow, but I don’t want you trying so hard that not to hurt me. I’m not made of glass. Can handle more than people think, especially more than Uncle Tony gives me credit for.”

Solid and truthful statement. Took a solid, strong man to stand up in such a manner. Just what Bobby needed to from him. He did not need anyone demeaning him by ignoring him.

“Alright. Come let me apologize correctly.”

Bobby wrapped his hands around the base of his back, letting his fingers spread wide on that bare patch of skin as his lips pressed into Tommy’s. He ran his hands up under Tommy’s shirt, then back down and over his ass, pausing and squeezing until Tommy wiggled closer to him just as I let the tip of my thumb barely make contact with his bare back. The kiss was broke with a delighted squeal.

“Hey, what was that for?”

“You thumb tickled me.” Tommy chuckled and flopped onto his back.

“No tickles. Got it.” Bobby sat up. “I’ve got something I want you to read or let me explain the most important parts of.” He tugged his riders bag over to him and pulled out the books he’d taken from Daddy Simon’s earlier and handed them to Tommy.

Tommy flipped each book over a couple of times then laid them on his lap. “You explain what I really need to know.”

Good. Tommy trusted him enough to take him at his word. Bobby had hoped he would. “First, have to have a bag of blood or a ten minute feeding from a willing person daily. Second, all bite marks disappear as soon as I seal them. Third, we are sexual creatures.” Did not mean that a Mixed Breed, not that he saw himself as a Mixed Breed, went around sleeping with anyone offering themselves to them. “Fourth, we automatically know a  language that has not been spoken since before Christ was born and only other Vampires understand.” Never even heard it before, so he wasn’t sure how true that was. “Last,  we are ten times more protective over the ones we love.” Knew that was true. Daddy Simon had been challenged once when he was younger and it had taken him being locked away in his bedroom to keep him from charging in and challenging the asswipe who dared come after his Daddy Simon. Daddy Simon hadn’t found it funny that his son dared come to his rescue on such an important matter, but he liked that his son held enough gumption to stand up for the ones he cared for. “Know, food for thought, there is a Wedding Ritual that all Vampires can go through. If we ever get that far, I would like to go through it with you.” Bobby might not see himself as a Mixed Breed, but he was both Vampire and Werewolf and he did have a draw to some aspects of both ways of life. “Any questions?”

Tommy tilted his head from side to side a couple of times then shook it. “Not about that.”

“Then what?”

“Does the pack know you are a Mixed Breed?”

“Not that I am aware of. I don’t go around telling people. Neither did my dads.” When he was a child, there was a major shit-storm about Mixed Breeds being among packs in some areas. Never heard about it being the case in Daddy Simon’s pack, but if no one asked about it, neither of my dads brought it up and he grew to keep it quiet as well.

“Well . . . You can feed from me daily as long as you tell me how to keep my strength up.” His huge smile had me stealing a quick kiss from him. “Second, Mr. Thief, when we get married we will go through both rituals. Is that all right?”

“Thief, eh? He goosed him and snatched him right back into his arms as Tommy tried to squirm away. “Sounds great to me.”

“We also have to try these fangs out if we ever make love to one another.”

“Soon, baby, soon.” He could promise that. “Let’s get home.”

Chapter 18

Bobby jerked the phone from the table and swiped left. “What’s wrong, Tommy?” He was supposed to be at work. He would not call unless something . . .

“Honey, nothing is wrong. Didn’t mean to scare you.”

Calm breath. In. Out. He’s fine. Breath. “Sorry, baby. How are you?”

“I’m a bit confused, but fine.”

Confused?  Why? “What’s going on?”

“Would the Alpha order my boss to give me three weeks off with pay?”

Huh. Would he? Didn’t seem like something he’d do. “Don’t see why. Why you ask, baby?”

“Just happened. Not that I’m complaining. Don’t understand why.”

Sure didn’t sound like Daddy Simon when in Alpha mode. He’d not do anything to harm a pack member’s income and having him give an employee that much time off with pay . . . “Let me call and talk to him. Something has to be up.”

“Talk to you after work. We’re picking up.”

“Okay, baby. Don’t work too hard.”

“Won’t.”

* * *

Bobby dialed Daddy Simon’s private line, knowing he’d only get the answering serving if he called the pack line that late at night. The greeting he got set his nerves on edge.

“Expected this call.”

“So you did give the order.”

“I did, son.”

“Why?” Seemed more personal than professional. Ire rose in the pit of his stomach, but Bobby forced it to remain there. He would not lose his temper. Nope. He was wiser than losing his control.

“You two can have more time to get to know one another.”

“Daddy Simon, I don’t need you butting in on how I run my relationship.” Okay, maybe the fiery anger rushing in his stomach did not completely stay there.

“I know, son. It’s just you are so happy. If you two have to work around work schedules to see one another then you won’t be able to get to know each other.”

“I still have to work!”

“You’ve been given the next three weeks off too. With pay.”

Bobby’s fingernails dung into his palms as his fist tightened. His head throbbed as his heart raced. Didn’t last as his mind told him how kind and caring and sweet Daddy Simon had been. His mental voice of reason was correct, but interference in his life was inappropriate. Nice as it would be to be able to spend three weeks in a row getting to know the man he wanted to spend the rest of his life with would be, Daddy Simon had overstepped some major bounds. Could have cost him Tommy. Tommy did not like people interfering in his life. Neither did he.

Ugh . . . There was no way to say if he was pissed as hell, which he was, or to say if glee, which he was, won out. Since both seemed to course through him on an equal basis, he said, “Don’t know whether to be pissed or happy with you, so I’ll leave it at both. But . . . Promise you’ll stay out of my love life from now on.”

“I promise.”

With that promise given they hung up and Bobby slammed his head back into the chair, sighing. How would he explain Daddy Simon’s interference to Tommy.

Inherited The Mob Chapter 17

Hi all,

Wanted to let you know that I just realized I made a major typo through out some of the chapters (what happens when you are doing free writes and that is why I state this is an unedited free written story) but I wanted to make it known, because I hope to avoid doing so from this point on. When I have typed the name Simone or Daddy Simone I have been meaning Simon or Daddy Simon. I am sorry for this, but that’s what you get when an author free writes.

Hope you ladies and gentlemen are enjoying the story so far. There is lots more to come from these characters. Twist and turns that I’m sure none of you are expecting, but will make the story that much more interesting. Keep reading and keep those imagination soaring.

Chapter 17

Simon loved his nights with his son. They were the highlights of his day. He missed all the time the two of them shared while he was growing up. There might have been lots of babysitters, but he always made sure to get home at a decent hour to spend most of the nights with him. As he got older, that became less and less. Got even less when he took over as Alpha. Alpha had been his goal all along, which was why he led his pack to believe that Bobby was the son of his closest friend and beta, who was murdered. He simple gave aid in raising his best friends son by providing sitters. The two of them shared no kinship or deep relationship. And no one knew that him and Bobby’s father were mates. Their names were never in the Relationship Book and no one knew Bobby’s biggest secret.

His phone buzzed, rattling on the wooden coffee table. He didn’t have to read the text to know who it was from. It was the one man, he’d feared, yet longed, hearing from. The pre-meeting time had been set earlier in the day. All left for me to do was tell Tony Stake that Bobby had left.

He just left. Come on over.

I’ll be there in a few.

Took in a deep breath and leaned my head back, silently praying Tony Stake did not forbid Bobby from seeing his nephew. It would kill Bobby and he’d hate him for the rest of their lives. The knock came much quicker than expected. Where had he been? Outside the building.

He opened the door and stepped aside, letting a tall, bulky guy march in with his head up high and shoulders squared. He did not spare him a look as he began to search through his book cases, sofa, chairs, cabinets, and side drawers. He’d find no bugs. There was one, but he’d never find it. His phone was off limits to everyone, even his son, and the recording device never got cut off.

The tall guy left and Tony Stake walked in, smiling ear to ear, running his light brown ran eyes over Simon’s entire body. “Hello, my old friend. Good to see you again.” He made his way over to Simon’s recliner and sat down, kicking the legs up, reclining back. “You know I’m here about this thing Bobby Timber has going on with my nephew.”

Course he’d state the obvious. “Figured as much.”

“My nephew seems to have fallen for him already, yet . . . Bobby is not pushing anything on him, even though their wolves want it.”

“Bobby is strong willed.” Could tell Bobby’s wolf wanted them closer, and so did Bobby, but his son did not dare push Tommy. He could tell how skittish Tommy seemed to be. Shocked the hell out of Simon that he had chosen to take it so slow with Tommy. Showed how much he cared for the man.

“I assure you, I came to tell you to break them apart.” Simon gasped at Tony’s words. “It’s right the opposite, now.” The air rushed from his lungs. “I want you to make sure they stay together no matter what. Push for your son to take it to the next level.”

“Mr. Stake, my son can feel the memories and hurt coming from Tommy and he is determined to take it slow so he does not screw up. He feels he has found the one he wants to be with.” Simon had to make Tony understand how serious Bobby was, so I leaned forward, ensuring my eyes locked with his. “I believe my son when he says this. He has taken his basic two Vampire Mixed Breed Books home with him.” He was sure he had not meant for him to see him enter and leave his old study room, but the door squeaked every time it opened and closed. The noise had drawn his attention. No one had gone in there since Bobby lived there. Simon had feared a staff member had broken a rule of his. Booby stayed in there for over an half an hour and came out all dust covered and carrying two he’d bought him about his true heritage. Simon only knew which books he taken, because he remembered the color of each spine related topic. “I’m sure he will let Tommy read those books and explain about himself when he feels Tommy is ready for the next step.”

Tony’s ankle was crossed over his knee, but it bounced up and and down. “I’m limited what I can do. Damn promise. But you are not.”

Oh boy. He was not going to like this.

“Call the owner of the Super Bar. Order him to give Tommy the next three weeks off with pay. He will be paid to cover his losses.”

Not as bad as Simon thought. Would not get him into trouble. “Can do, Mr. Stake.”

“Make sure he knows to tell Tommy it was not I who issues the order.”

Just great. He got to get into trouble. Bobby would rain hell down on him for interfering with Tommy’s life. Being Alpha should mean he had the right to say no, but when an order came from Mr. Tony Stake . . . No one could say no to him.

Chapter 16

Bobby took the back steps up to Daddy Simone’s room, entering, making himself at home. Ten minutes later Daddy Simone walked in and took a seat in his recliner across from the sofa Bobby sat on.

“What does my son need?”

“Nothing. Just got great news.” He went on to tell him about the condo and the bike he’d bought. “Better than all that, I can afford to take Tommy out for a nice dinner tomorrow night.”

“That is awesome some, but why are you not with him?”

“He has to work tonight. We are going to Fig Hill tonight and celebrate tomorrow.” Man, wished we could have went tonight, but Tommy had to work. Knew what that was like. Just because he had money did not mean he would not be working. He’d be there bright and earlier in the morning.

“You still taking it slow?”

“I don’t want to rush it.”

“Good. The first guy he was with did a hell of a number on him.”

“Daddy Simone, I think he is the one. I don’t want to screw that up for anything.” A feeling that both thrilled and scarred the hell out of him. No one, not a single other guy, put the intense butterflies inside my stomach. The kind that lived inside you day and night. There was no break from them and he did not want them to stop. He wanted them to remain. Remind him of what he had. Or could have. What he  was working for.

“That is great, son.”

More than, but he had to remember what was nagging at him. The rest of their conversation faded away from him and Tommy. Discovered that Daddy Simone and him had not had a night for just them in a long time. That had to change. Our conversation ranged from the foods he’d bought at the farmer market and how much the new rules coming from the higher-ups were changing. He didn’t outright say it, but it scared him. Once our conversation winded down, Bobby slapped his legs and pushed to his feet.

“This was amazing, Daddy Simone.”

“So was. We’ve got to do it more often.”

“Soon as I have everything setup at the condo, I’ll have you over for supper. I’ll let Tommy cooking. His food is awesome.”

“Sure he is.” Daddy Simone stood up and pulled me into a hug. “Love you son.”

“Love you to, Daddy Simone.”

Chapter 15

The condo Bobby found in Forrest Oak Area was beyond amazing. More like a mansion that met the same extravgratve setup as Tommy’s house. Not to mention the place had private parking, elevators to each floor and cameras everywhere. Bobby bought it cash price, getting a ten day turn around thanks to Tommy’s great haggling skills. From there they went to the dealership and spent two hours hunting the perfect bike.

Bobby followed Tommy home, parking the bike, jumping off his knew Harley and snagged Tommy from the air, swinging him around. Not sure which Tommy squealed more out of, shock or delight. His huge smile when he was back on his feet had me pressing him against my body, kissing him while I rubbed up and down his back.

Soft gentle touch across my ass drew Bobby from the kiss, leaving him panting and pressing his head against Tommy’s forehead.

“Sorry. Got carried away.”

“Look at me Tommy.” Bobby lifted his head. “You can touch me whenever you wherever you want. If I don’t want you to . . . I’ll tell you.” He gave him a lite peck on the lip. “I sort of liked feeling your touch. Now . . . Is my baby, hungry.”

“Yes, but I thought you was going to let me cook.”

“Alright. Cook us something while I watch that amazing body of yours.”

“You got it honey. I’ll fix you something special for your celebration.”

“Then I’ll take you out for supper. Okay?”

“Baby, I’ve got to work tonight, but we could go back to Fig Hill afrter I get off and then I’m off for the next two nights.”

Oh, that sounded amazing. Two nights with him. Perfect. “You got a deal.”

Bobby slid on to the stool behind the island just as Tony walked in. Tommy gave his uncle a huge smile.

“Hey, Uncle. How are you today?”

“Great. Sorry about last night.” He should have been. That woman he was with last night had some set of lungs. “Man, is that Tommy’s famous pizza? What are you celebrating?”

“Honey got him a nice third floor condo and nice new motorcycle after finial proving to his dad’s partner that he was ready for his inheritance.”

“Nice.”

Tony’s word didn’t sum it up. There were no words to describe what he felt about being given his inheritance. It wasn’t the money that he enjoyed. Lack of living from living week to week was more than nice, but it was not what he was thrilled about. Proving his stability to Daddy Simon . . .

“Real celebration is tomorrow since I have two nights off.”

“Why not call in tonight, Tommy. I’ll clear it.”

“Uncle, remember your promise to me.”

Tony lifted his hands in surrender and smiled at Tommy. ‘Worth a shot.” The  way those two got along reminded me of Daddy Simon and me when we were alone. “What  are you going to do tonight, Bobby?”

“Going to see if my other dad has some time free and do some research.” There were a few things Tommy might need to know. If he was going to spend time  with Daddy Simon he needed to reach out to him.

Bobby text with Daddy Simon while Tommy fixed the pizza. Once the food was done, we washed the dishes, talking the entire time. By the time all that was done he had to get ready for work. Bobby waited in the living room, going over and over in his mind what he had to search for. He knew there was something about being a mixed breed that was important, but he couldn’t . . . Put his finger on it.

“I’m all ready.”

All too sexy for work. Tight jeans that showed his amazing bubble butt ass, that I couldn’t wait to get a better look at. His bright red shirt made his perfect rounded face all but glow.

“Come here.” Bobby tugged Tommy onto his lap, kissing him deeply. He’d been making their kissing longer and longer. More intense and interactive. That time, he let his hand tug his shirt from Tommy’s jeans and slid up under it, feeling soft tender bare skin. Damn. He wanted to strip the man down. Lay him out on the couch and ravish him. Not the time. Slow. Had to take it slow. He broke the kiss, panting.

“Dang, honey.”

“Have to make sure you don’t forget me while you work.”

“No way in that, honey. No way in that.”

Chapter 14

Bacon and eggs greeted Bobby as he opened his eyes. A tray of food was placed over his lap.

“Wow! Baby, this is nice.”

“Sit up. Eat while its hot. I’m going to shower.”

Bobby took a light kiss from Tommy when he leaned over. Man alive, he’d not expected such treatment from him. Sure was going to be hard to keep to the going slow part. All he wanted to do was go in there and eat every inch of that man’s bare skin. He’d made it halfway through his plate when Tony Stakes walked in. His eyes went wide, then he turned and headed back out the door.

“Uncle, hat did you want?”

“Sorry, came to see if you wanted to get some breakfast, but you have company.”

“Yeah.” Tommy smiled over at him as he filled Tony in on James invading my house and me staying there until he found another one.

The lifted eyebrow had  Bobby biting the inside of his jaw and Tommy’s response had him shoving a laugh down.

“Uncle . . . Nothing happened. Bobby is not that type of guy.”

“Okay. Fine.” He held his hand up. “Have a good day.”

Tommy’s threw his hand up in the air, facing him with apology written all over his face. Bobby did not want to hear it, so he squashed it before it came to life. “Tell you what, baby, you look hot as hell in those tight as jeans and wet slick back, black hair.”

His smile lit up his face, making everything in the room light up. Bobby climbed out of the bed, slapping Tommy’s ass as he walked by heading to the shower. He  soaked up the warmth, letting the rush of everything that took place. The water washed the craziness away and the newness of the day rushed over him, bringing to life a happiness that he’d not felt since his dad was alive.

“Honey,” Tommy yelled from the bedroom, “Do you have any idea what you might like in a place?”

Bobby tossed the towel he’d dried off with into the dirty clothes bin and made his way to the bedroom. He paused at the sight in front of him. Tommy stood bent over the bed, tucking in the corners of the sheet. It was irresistible. Bobby walked his way over behind Tommy and wrapped his arm around his waist. Tommy raise up, putting him the in the right spot for his neck to be sniffed. Bobby told himself to back off, but his wolf, and himself could not resist the  wonderful scent he put off. Two long inhales later, Bobby pulled back

“Sorry, baby. You looked so good. Couldn’t stop myself.”

The blush rushed up his neck, over his cheeks into his eyes. His eyes lowered as his head dipped forward. “I made us an appointment with my Realtor. She sells homes, condos. In all types of areas.”

“Good. Never thought I’d be buying me a place of my own. Let alone be able to look at a condo.” Kinda through his mind into a spiral. “Think I’d like a condo overlooking a mountain.”

“Know a place we can see, if they have any openings.”

Chapter 13

Bobby didn’t even get the car door shut before Tommy had his arm around him. Bobby buried his nose into his neck, inhaling.

“See, I’m fine, baby. Perfectly fine.”

Tommy wiggled further against him, snuggling his face into his shirt. “Sorry, I was worried.” He pulled back, smiling up at him. “Do I show you the back of the house?”

“You room will be fine.” Bobby wasn’t so sure about that, but there was no way him and his wolf was going to stay in a separate area of a house when Tommy lived in another room. Nope. Not happening.

“Good. Oh, if you hearing screaming . . . Uncle Tony brought home someone . . . She’s a screamer and half.”

A shrilling sound rippled through the house as they entered the hallway.

“See what I mean?” They walked toward the back of the hall to a double, non-decorative door. “Here we go.”

Not a grand door. Would Bobby be mistaken about what he found inside? King size bed. Walk-in closest. Semi-full of clothes. Not over running like he’d expected. Home entertainment center. Bit eccentric for a bedroom. Two simple designed matching dressers. Not total overboard considering Tommy had more money than Bobby ever dreamed of having, before that night.

“Where the sliding doors lead to?”

“Porch, go take a look.”

Bobby slid the door open, gasping at the beauty of the place. Flower garden with wondrous colors greeted him, but what caught his eye the most was the medium size jacuzzi sitting among them. Sure would be nice to come home from  hard day at work and sink into such warmth with  Tommy between my legs. Yep. Luxuriously. That’s what Bobby wanted.

“Nice, baby.”

“The amazing room is in here.”

Tommy waved at the door Bobby assumed led to the bathroom. He made his way over to it and froze when he opened it. A garden, whirlpool tub big enough for four huge men greeted me. Across from it sat a shower with three rain shower heads and big enough for at least eight werewolf size men.

“Man alive. It’s . . .”

“Yeah. Was speechless too. Uncle Tony has great taste. Uh . . . Maybe . . . I mean if you’d like . . . Maybe one night we can put that Jacuzzi to use?” Tommy stuttering was cute enough I took hold oh his hand, tugging him into me.

“One night. Stay calmer?”

“Much.”

“Then where in this huge room do you want me to sit my stuff? Then I will tell you what the Alpha had for me.”

Tommy took hold of my bag, sliding it down my shoulder, and walking over to the dresser on the far right. “Use this one. Hangup anything you’d like. There’s plenty of room. Put all the bathroom stuff where it belongs. Make yourself at home, baby.”

Bobby quickly put away his clothing and then joined Tommy on the edge of the bed. He knew what he had to say might make or break the relationship, but he also knew it had to be said.

“Did you know that the Alpha once had a mate?”

“There were rumors.”

Lots of them. Most untrue, but Dad and Daddy Simon did their best to keep themselves hidden. Not because of them being together, but because of him.

“He did have a mate. They also had a son.”

“You.”

“Yes. They adopted me when I was a baby.”

“The rumor  says the mate died.”

“He was murdered ten years ago.” Sixteen was a hardass time to lose a father for anyone, but for Bobby it had been horrific. He’d been battling with things no one knew how to help him with. Feelings and emotions that made no sense to him. Stuff that made little to no sense to him still, but he had books to refer back to on. Thank goodnes. “Guess you also need to know that not only am I the son of the Alpha, or the hidden son of the Alpha, but I”m also a Mixed Blood.”

“What?”

“Wolf on father’s side and Vampire on mother’s. I do have to have one bag of blood a week, but that is all.” That fact sickened him. He hated how diferent he was from his Daddy Simon and the rest of his pack. It’s why he fought so hard to keep his true self hidden from everyone. “If you wish me to leave . .  . I’ll understand.”

“I don’t care about that one bit.”

“How will your Uncle take it?” Bobby did not want to fall the rest of the  way for Tommy only to have Tony Stake to knock him down and out of Tommy’s life because of his blood.”

“Fine. His wife was a Vampire.”

“Wife?”

“The enemy killed her some years ago.”

“Oh.”

“He doens’t talk about it.”

Don’t blame him. I don’t like to talk about Dad’s death either. “Then if you’re not going to kick me to the curb for my blood line, can we get some sleep. I want to get an early start.”

“Sure.”

“Can I sleep in my boxers?”

“Long as I can.”

Would be challenging to know Tommy was beside him in only his boxers, but he’d make it. He hoped.

Camp NaNo Is Over

 Hi all,

I completed another Camp Nano. Did not meet the goal I initially set, but the good thing  about Camp is that you can change your goal. I had to lower mine from 30,000 to 25,000. I did end up with 26,113 words. So I completed another Camp NaNo.

Hope that the next camp will be as successful. For now, I'll go back to working on some free writing on a story and start some revision on the next book I'm working on. I'll also focus a bit better on the blog story, which I hope all are able to let their imagination soar when they read each chapter.

Have a great weekend.
