Demon of the Week
Belphegor appears as a young girl and gives wealth. Shewas a
demon worshiped by Moabites as Baaplphegor on Mount Phegor. Some rabbis claimed
he was to be worshiped on the toilet, with an offering being residue of
digestion. This led some to referred to him as the God of Pet (Fart) or
Crepitus.
