Scottish folklore tells of a blessed or holy group of Fairies.
Seelie Court, a community of helpful and beneficent Fairies. They are known for
coming out at twilight in a long, solemn procession. They are known for
exchanging gifts and favors with the humans, in-return for the help of the
human. Some will even gifts of corn and bread for those who honor them.
In some books where the Seelie Court are spoken of we see
differences, but those come from imagination and other mythology and culture.
I’ve never really did much research on the Seelie Court, but
I have to admit from what I read about them in my Mythical Creatures Bible by
Brenda Rosen, I’m going to do a bit more digging.
