Chapter 25
Bobby swore Tommy dressed for their night to kill him. Tight ass low rider faded out jeans and a light blue tank top that showed his rounded arm muscles. They went to Little Zillion’s for supper and Bobby made sure they he sat thigh to thigh beside him and took hold of his hand the moment they were both inside the booth.
“There pasta is amazing here.” Tommy smiled over at him.
“Sure is.” Bobby leaned in, brushing his lips against his ear as he said, “We could share a bite and be Lady and the Tramp.” He loved how Tommy’s face heated up and his thin eyelashes fluttered down. “You are so sexy, baby.”
“No, I’m not.”
“How are you gentlemen tonight?”
Damn. Waitress had bad timing. “Fine. I’ll take some sweet tea tonight.”
“Me to.” Tommy wiggled around a bit until the strawberry-haired lady left. “Now . . . She’s beautiful.”
“Nah . . .” I cupped his cheek and leaned in and gave him a small kiss on his upturned lips. “You are the most amazing looking man here tonight.”
“Doubtful, but thanks for saying so.” Tommy tapped the menu. “Know you want to share pizza or a plate of pasta?”
“Pizza.”
While they waited for their food they fell into a comfortable conversation about each other’s families and things they liked and done over the years. Stupid stunts as well as smart ones. Tommy was a brilliant man. He’d finished school early and graduated college with highest honors. His Uncle Tony was dead set to make sure he had a secure life for the rest of his life. Even if it meant being pushy and a bulllie. Tommy hated that aspect but loved his Uncle for it.
Deseret was the best part of the meal. They got one piece of chocolate cake and shared it. Bobby fed Tommy his half and then licked the leftover icing from Tommy’s lips, making sure to press in on him as much as the booth would allow.
Their next stop was the movies. Bobby chose a nice and scary one. They got seated at the top far corner and sat their single drink on the opposite side of Tommy. Bobby wanted nothing, other than the chair arm between them. They arrived about fie minutes early and the theater was semi-crowded and their little corner of the the theater was dark, so Bobby threw his arm around Tommy and tugged him into him.
Man fit perfect against him. Just like a blanket your mom made to wrap around you as a baby. Those kind you never stop carrying around, even if it only in some hidden away place. Tommy was that for Bobby. He’d never leave him be.
Bobby ran his tongue up the side of Tommy’s neck, getting him to tilt his head further over, giving him better access to his neck and ear. He tugged the ear lobe down and then traced his ear with the tip of his tongue.
“Baby, did you enjoy your wake up call?”
“Oh, hell yeah, but I just loved having you beside me.” Tommy wiggled around so he was facing him then locked eyes with him. “Honey, why don’t you withdraw your bid on the condo and live with me. Please.”
Bobby had to admit, he’d been thinking about about how wonderful it felt to wake up with Tommy this morning. To know if he lived there that he could have total access to Tommy and his body whenever he wanted it. Better than that, he’d be able to make sure he was safe from James or any future threats that came along.
“Is that what you really want?”
“I loved waking up to you. Your alarm clock system is much better than mine.” He gave me this huge, toothy grin. “I loved smelling your soap and shampoo in my shower. I don’t want to lose those small things.”
Tommy was right. Those small things were more important than the sex driven results of living together. Those were the ones that counted the most. And I desired those as much as anything else. Watching Tommy cook us his amazing pizza. Even watching him interact with his Uncle.
Bobby slipped his fingers into Tommy’s hair, tugging his head before pressing his lips over his. He pushed his tongue deep into Tommy’s mouth, making the kiss the hardest and longest they’d shared yet. Tommy’s entire body went lax and slumped into his, forcing Bobby to have to wrap his arms around him, tugging him flush, as flush as the theater chairs would allow, to him. Lack of air ended the kiss, but Tommy kept pressing small ones down until he rested his head in the crook of my neck.
“Loved that kiss. Did that mean yes?”
What little light had been on went out and the huge blank white theater screen lit up with previews.
“It does. Let’s watch the movie.”
