Mythical Creature of the Week: Llamhigyn Y Dwr

Today’s creatures comes from Welsh Mythology. The Llamhigyn Y Dwr is commonly called a water leaper. This creature is a monster of ponds, swampy waters, as well as lakes. It has no limbs and a body of a fog, long lizard tail, with membrane wings similar to a bat. It is said to use it wings to leap from the water and glide and swims like a frog using its tail. Last fact the site states is that it is carnivorous.

I don’t believe I would like to run across this, but I have to say I wouldn’t have minded seeing such a creature.

You may find a sketched photo of the  creature from the site I found the information on.
