I’m done with the introduction of Witchcraft Theory and Practice Witchcraft Theory and Practice by Ly de Angeles. I’m working my way
through section one and the first topic is titled “First Stage Technique Requirements”.
There was a lot of god information, informative information, making it hard for
me to decide what to share with you guys this week. So, I’ve decided to mention
the one aspect I liked reading and then explain the main concept of this week’s
reading.
Touch On Topic:
Before you begin section one, there is a little tid-bid from
another one of Ly de Angele book The
Feast of Flesh & Spirit. It is titled “Hallowed Be Thy Name” I read it and wanted to read the rest that
went along with it. Might be something you guys like to check out on your own.
Discussion Topic
The Center
The Center has many names. Spirit, essence, soul,
consciousness, but it is the deep part of you that seeks understanding of more
than who you are, but why you are here. Activating your Center requires
becoming a watcher, a purveyor of how you react and respond within a
manifestation environment. Use all five sense, taste, touch, hearing, smelling,
and seeing to gain your access to how you react to others as well as how they
react to you. This must become second nature to you. In her book, Ly de Angeles
gives an exercise of sitting aside an hour a day to become attune with your
surroundings. Recognize everything that you think, do, say, and hear. Later in
the day jot claim some quiet time and reflect on what you saw, heard, smelled,
touched, tasted, thought about, and felt. This is called the Nemet a nonjudgmental, external consciousness.
