Sigbin comes from the Philippine Mythology. Apparently, it comes out at night to suck blood from someone’s shadow. Neat thing about it is that it walks backwards with his head lowered between its hind legs.

Witch Fact

I was doing some research the other day and ran across this website that enlightened me to something I did not know. Wanted to share it with you guys.

We all know that we no longer have to worry over witch hunts, but our history shows us how much fear of the unknown and lack of knowledge can turn people into mosters. The Witch Hunts shows us just how much. I think that is why I found this little tid-bit of information interesting.

We do not automatically go to Vienna when we think about witches, and for good reason. There was only one case mentioned in our history. It is referred to as Plainacher Witch Affair, and occurred in 1583. The victim was a 70 year old lady who had raised her granddaughter. When the granddaughter left she began having seizures. Georg Schere, a man who believed in killing witches, came in and said the granddaughter had been hexed by her grandmother. Schere interrogated the granddaughter until she agreed that her grandmother had hexed her. Then Schere tortured the grandmother until she confessed.

Short Scene

My merger was finally upon me. It had taken me five, extra long years, to combine with my wolf. Most of my family had came into their wolf two years before their twentieth birthday. Me, nope. I was the odd ball out. My body and wolf decided that I was not ready for the power that came with the wolf, therefore I remained unable to shift. There were only three other cases like mine among our kind. All three of them had turned out to be a rogue. A Lycan who gave into the evil side of our world. I would not cave to the that horrible side. Nope. I would work as one with my wolf. At all time. I will take her consideration into every move I make.

“I promise.”

Two words. A promise that my wolf would hold me to for the rest of my life. It was such simple to say, but would not be an easy feat. Yet, it was all it took for my wolf to surround me in a white cloud of mist. Accept my promise as truth and allow my entire body to become hers.
