Bobby wiggled free of James’ warm body, groaning at the loss of his strength. Even his wolf groaned a bit. Unexpected.

“God . . . Ugh . . .” James threw his hand over his face. “I’m going to hate that damn thing.”

Bobby forced his laugh back down his throat as he glanced over his shoulder in time to see James’ sexy bare, firm ass sway as he walked to the bathroom. The click of the door had him shaking the lust fog away and opening his email, containing more information than he’d wanted. Tony had discovered that the information James’ found was correct. Tommy, his wolf mate, the one that he’d given his heart to, the one that he’d hoped to spend the rest of his life with, had gone to the bad side an entire month before he hooked up with him. Uncle Tony was wasting no time in resolving the issue. Apparently, Tommy being his nephew meant very little when Uncle Tony had do handle his shit. He’d give quick and swift resolution just like Uncle Tony would have done with anyone else. What shocked Bobby most was Uncle Tony apologized for taking his mate from him then turned around and reextened his offer to take over his business. Uncle Tony swore that he thought he would be the best to run it and he felt like he was his only family.

“What’s that face for?”

Bobby leaned back into James’ body as he slid his arm around his chest. “Take a look at this email and let me know if you agree with me continuing with Uncle Tony.”

“I’ve done agreed. I’m not changing my mind, because Tommy . . . Because he . . .”

“Played me.”

“All of us, it would seem.”

Felt as if he was the only one who’d been played. Him and Cal, his wolf, should have saw through the ploy. How had they been blinded to it? Had their love for their mate been that strong? Or had it been their desire for a mate that blinded him? Was he doing the same with James? No. Cal shouted at him at the same time as his stomach all but rebelled its empty contents. Both was right. James had done nothing but been forthright with them since he discovered what was taking place between them. He might have started off about it in a disrespectful manner, but he was confused and unaware of what was taking place at the time and he admitted it as soon as he discovered it. Could not ask for more than that. And he was doing all he could to help him unearth the massive puzzle that had become his life.

A light tap on his shoulder had him looked to his left, coming face to face with a square white DVD envelope. “What is that, sexy?”

“I like that name.” James’ fingers rubbed across his nipples, pulling a deep shiver from him. “Don’t know. It’s what I got last night. Play it.”

Part of Bobby said to do as he said, but the other said to ignore what was on that disk. That it would only bring more hardship and disruption. Turned out right.
