Mythical Creature Fun Fact

In Orcadian Folklore there is a creature that resembles a centaur whose legs are semi fins and had an enormous gaping mouth and a single giant eye that burns with a red flame. That still isn’t the most nasty detail, that honor goes to the fact that he is skinless, giving you a sight of the black blood that courses through his yellow veins, and pale sinews with powerful muscles visible as a pulsating mass. The Nuckelavee does have a weakness. If you run across him then all you have to do is cross a stream. He despises running water.

Upcoming Pagan Holiday

Mabon, or as most of us might know it, Autumnal Equinox is also known as Harvest Home, Feast of the Ingathering. So, what is it? It is a Pagan ritual of thanksgiving for the fruit and earth. A recognition of the need to share and secure the blessing of Goddess and Gods.

Merciful Wolf
Human-Skinned Wolves Book 6

Ash was the one who should be leading the werewolves among the Moon Chance Area. Not Karl Sonic. Karl was a despicable man who deserved death for all the crimes he committed against the werewolves Ash was supposed to be leading. That wasn’t possible until Ash’s Dream Bearer showed himself to him. Ash dreamed and prayed for it each night, but it never came. He waited for the one being that meant he could take Karl Sonic, an evil, vile man, from the world. That was what he lived for. That was what kept him calm when his natural born urge to run off and take the seat that belonged to him arose and ate at his insides. He told himself over and over that day would come. When was not known, but it could not come fast enough. As if that wasn’t enough for him to deal with from day to day, he had to constantly combat the advances of the woman his dad stashed away with him. The one his dad deemed to be his chosen mate. Ash had other plans and those did not include a woman he viewed as his sister.

His life wasn’t easy, but he bought his time until the day of retribution came. And he knew it would come. When wasn’t clear, but the how was. Or so he thought.

Demon Flash Fiction Scene

Doris watched as her daughter walked into the flames of hell. Her hand had not left her chest since the day her daughter told her she was going to learn from her grandfather, the destroying angel, Abaddon. Doris had left that aspect behind her the day she met Jeff. She’d not looked back since that day. She had known the moment she saw Jeff sipping a cup of coffee under the light green umbella that he was the one for her. A year after that she gave birth to Cami and Jeff demanded that his daughter not be involved in the demon world until she graduated and could gain an understanding of what it meant for her life. Doris had hoped that Cami never decided to learn that aspect of her life, but Abaddon had made sure his daughter viewed the demon world as magical, fun, full of loyal friends awaiting her. Doris wished that had been true, but she had grew up there. She knew that most demons were unkind, down right deadly, to half human, half demons. Didn’t matter to those that a demon was daughter to Abaddon. Nope, they would only view her as an abadomination to the demon world.

“Will she come back to us?” Jeff took her hand squeezing. “She will be fine.”

“How can you ask such a question then tell me she will be fine?”

“Positive thinking.”

Doris chuckled. “Only you could drive away my cloudy mood.”

“That’s my job.”

Doris sighed and turned away as the firey gate consumed her daughter and her white wings. “That’s what we need. Positivity. Trust.”

“Trust?”

“Yes. Father promised to protect her.”

“Thought demons didn’t care who her granddad was?”

“Some won’t.”

“How will he keep her away from those?”

“Not sure.” Doris squeezed his hand and turned them towards the back porch. “All we can do is hope and trust in my father.”
