Mythical Creature – Isis

Isis comes from the Egyptian Mythology. She’s known as the patron of natural magic and was considered the ideal mother and wife. Temples were raised in the Egyptian Kingdom, Rome, Greece, Iraq, and Pompeii.

Demon of the week – Mothman

Mothman, a winged humanoid with red eyes and may have no head, because his eyes are in his chest. He is extremely tall and has a wide wingspan. First sighted in Ohio Valley in 1966. He apparently can predict incidents of death and destruction.

Mythical Creature of the Week – Kelpie, Water Kelpie

This week I chose a shape shifter that appears as a horse, but can adopt a human form. Kelpie, aka Water Kelpie. They are known to keep its hooves when in human form.

This week I was searching Pinetrest and ran across this photo. It made me think of the bright blue eyes that the character I am working on for a new story had. Needless to say, I pinned it to ensure creativity at a later point.

The Yenaldooshis are a Navajo mythical skin-walker. They are known to be witches who wears coyote skin and travel at night.

Charybdis is a Greek Monster who creates a swirling whirlpool of death. She swallows large quanities of water and anything caught in it. Orginally she was a naiad, a water nymph, goddess of the tide.
