Chapter 28
Bobby stood in front of the stove flipping eggs when James came up behind him, wrapping his arms around his waist. His hard cock pressed against his ass as he nipped Bobby’s ears, pulling a groan from him. His lip traced the edge of it and then made its way down his throat. Bobby’s cock sprang to life as his ass pushed back into James. He was in the process of sitting the eggs off the burner when the front door opened. They both tensed and inhaled.
“It’s Uncle Tony. Don’t go panicking.”
“Thanks for telling me.” James squeezed him and moved away from him.
Bobby was kind of glad, although he hated the fleeting frown that he caught on James’ face. He hated that it felt . . . Disrespectful to have someone else near him in a sexual manner. Yes the two of them were mates, but it . . . Everything was still new to him. He’d never known that a Mixed Breed would have multiple mates. Never knew any supernatural being would. Especially, one that would have total say over all the others. He’d been taught one way and just discovered he had to learn an entire new way of life. Sucked, didn’t explain it. He was trying not to hurt anyone and it seemed like he was the only one getting hurt. Not by James. He’d been there for him. Great to him. That’s why it bothered him to see a frown on his face because of him.
“Want breakfast, Uncle Tony.”
“No, thanks. I’m here to take care of business.” He sighed. “I will stop back by with Tommy on our way out.”
Damn. Bobby knew Uncle Tony would have to deal with Tommy the moment the evidence had been brought to life, but he deserved what was coming his way. As much as it hurt his wolf to say it. Him and his wolf disliked the idea of his wolf mate being eliminated, but knew he deserved what was coming his way. He’d hurt them. Betrayed them. Used them. How could he have done so? They were mates. Mates did not harm one another.
Warm arms slipped around him, tugging him against a broad chest as a soft chin came to rest on the top of his head. “My Love, you and Cal okay?”
“We’d like to say yes. Might should say yes, but it hurts. Does that make sense.”
“It does, My Love.” James squeezed him tighter. “Let Cal know that I’m here for him. I might not be his wolf mate, but I am his mate and will take on all the pain he has.”
Bobby knew James meant it. Cal knew he did, which is why both of them eased into the embrace for a few moment. Once raised voices began to fill the house, Bobby uncurled himsef from the warmth and resumed fixing breakfast. He needed the distraction, what better than stuffing ones’ face.
