Salem Witch Trials



Between Feb. 1692 and May 1693 there were series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of Witchcraft in colonial Massachusetts. Twenty people, thirteen were hung. Five other, including two babies died in prison. Twelve other were executed before then. Several towns held these hearings, Salem Village, Salem Town, Ipswich, and Andover.
