Chapter 32
A pounding on the door woke him. Bobby slid on some shorts and opened the door saying what is wrong Never in his life had he expected an Alpha to do a house inspection. Bring instruction, yes, they did that all the time. Especially to new members.
“Ask him to give us fifteen minutes.” Bobby said to Tony, who just walked away. He took that as an agreement and went over to Tommy and gave him a light kiss on the cheek.
“Baby, get up and dress. Alpha Kind is here.” He groaned and rolled over, kicking the sheet off of him, giving me a clear view of his perfect body. “Hell, what a picture.”
“No time to start anything, honey.” He mumbled as he climbed out of bed and stumbled over to the pile of clothes we’d left on the floor last night.
Together they were dressed and semi-ready for the day in ten minutes and in front of Alpha Kind. Soon as they got in front of him they both dropped to their knees and tilted their necks, baring the right side for him.
“First rule,” Alpha Kind spoke in a solid, but friendly tone, “you do not drop to your knees and offer me your neck unless you are in trouble and know it.”
“Yes, Sir.” Bobby replied.
“I take it from last night and the response I just got that Bobby is the dominanat.”
“That is correct, Sir.”
“Then have your mate show me your home.”
Bobby stood and offered Tommy his hand, who took it and got to his feet. “Go on, baby, show his around.” He faced Alpha Kind and added on one more request. “Alpha Kind, please just forgive the messy state of our room, we just woke up.”
“That is no problem.”
Twenty minutes late the two of them walked back in and Alpha Kind gushed over how lovely Tommy’s home was. Bobby made sure to let him know it was Tommy’s before they mated and he in returned reinforced the fact that it was now both of ours.
“Now,” Alpha Kind clapped his hands together. “The main reason I came by. There is a Welcome Party tonight at six. Dress casusal but make sure you mate knows the Public Display rule, becuase no childre will be there.”
Bobby wasn’t sure how he felt about that, but he’s make sure Tommy understood what his books had told him about such parties. “Yes, Sir.”
“Second, within three days, I would like for you two to have me and my mate over for supper.”
“Is two days, five Alpha Kind. That way my mate can get the items required. He is an excellent cook.”
“Perfect. And third, I need to know how you get your blood.”
“Starting this Friday, I will take it from Tommy.”
“Great. I prefer that.” Alpha Kind gave Tommy a huge smile. “It is a wonderful thing that our mates can give us to sustain us.” He gave a bow of his head. “We will have your Wolf Wedding in one week and your dad and Mr. Stake has permission to attend. Your Vampire Wedding will be the next day and once again both are welcome to come. Last is the group’s traditional gift, so expect it and accept it.”
“Yes, Alpha Kind.” Never heard of any pack giving gifts to a member before. Sounded neat and unique. Kind for sure.
“That’s all the time I will take from you. I know that Tommy must be excited to take you shopping for a new wardrobe. My mate would biting at the bit to get me in the stories if he could.”
Tommy was, but Bobby was he would have liked to sleep another hour. They’d been up later than he’d meant them to be, but it’d been worth it. Tommy showed Alpha Kind to the door then came back in and flopped down on the couch.
“He said the meetings is held at the Group House on Thompson Hill in the Thompson Community. The gathering site is behind the house. All we have to do is knock and tell them our names and they will take us to Anky Devon, his Beta.”
Seemed like Alpha Kind had things well organized like Daddy Simon did with the pack. He’d been afraid that switching from a Pack to a Group would be difficult, but if it ran as smoothly as the pack did then there should be no problem for him or Tommy. Guess time would tell. Right then, he needed a shower and clothes.
