Inherited The Mob Chapter 46

 Hi,

Sorry there was no post last week. With my Uncle passing I was in no mood to even touch the computer long enough to think about writing. I apologize for that, but my mind is clearer and I have written the two chapters for this week. So, I hope you are ready to let that imagination soar this week.

Chapter 46

Bobby followed the scent for over five miles before the scent vanished off the face of the earth. Area was riverless. Bushless. Caveless. No place for him to hide, but he’d disappeared. Or he thought so. When he spun to head back, he caught a faint  trace of the other wolf. Headed right back towards his mate. Bobby double-timed it back only to find his mate sitting on his hind legs waiting as if it was any other typical day. He walked up to him, sniffed him all over before he took a seat beside him.

David took that as his cue to continue their Wolf Wedding. Grated his pelt to know such a wonderful day had been interrupted by an intruder. He’d have to work double hard to make it up to Stay and Tommy. David stood tall and lifted his hands.

“Let’s introduce, Mr. Bobby and Tommy Timbers. Give them the wolf send off they deserve.” Howl after howl filled the area. Once they faded away, David continued. “Tomorrow will be their Vampire Wedding and then they will leave for their two weeks. Due to the . . . Trouble plaguing them we are keeping their location hidden. It is time for the Timbers to take their leave and enjoy the rest of their night.”

Bobby and Tommy shifted and made their way to the limo. Tony and Daddy Simon was already seated and smiling huge enough to light the state of Texas.

“Well,” Tony chuckled, “you two are married in the wolf way. How’s it feel?”

“Great, Uncle. I feel like I’m home and complete.”

“Feel like I’m the richest man in the world.”

Didn’t really look at Tony or Daddy Simon. Other than the gut twisting in his stomach, Bobby couldn’t explain why not. Something felt wrong. Off. Not in him. He’d spoken the truth. It had to be because the intruder showed up. Interrupted the flow of our marriage. Had him and his wolf worked up. That had to be the problem.

To ease himself and make sure the others suspected nothing, he pulled Tommy into his lap and kissed him. Deeply.

“Alright, you two.” Daddy Simon snorted. “Save it to you get home.”

Wasn’t about to. Bobby had his man on his lap. Warm lips pressed against his and dueled with his tongue. Hands worked at pulling the hem of his shirt up and slipping under it. Might been the wrong place and wrong time, but what could he say, they’d just gotten hitched.
