The Nue is from Japanese Folklore and is sometimes called
Japanese Chimera. It is a hybrid with many animals. A monkey head, body of a
raccoon dog, legs of tiger, and a snakes’ tail. He can transfer into a black
cloud and fly around. He brings misfortune and illness.
