In Orcadian Folklore there is a creature that resembles a centaur
whose legs are semi fins and had an enormous gaping mouth and a single giant
eye that burns with a red flame. That still isn’t the most nasty detail, that
honor goes to the fact that he is skinless, giving you a sight of the black blood
that courses through his yellow veins, and pale sinews with powerful muscles
visible as a pulsating mass. The Nuckelavee does have a weakness. If you run
across him then all you have to do is cross a stream. He despises running
water.
