Bobby had know Uncle Tony from somewhere, but could not place him or his name. It wasn’t until that moment that it slapped him upside the head like a bullet. Not like pointing out who Uncle Tony was, was logical, which left him with replying to his remark. An honorable and upfront thing.

“Promise it is not my intention to hurt Tommy in any way.”

“That is what I like to hear.” Uncle Tony shifted his gaze to Tommy. “Why don’t you two join me for dinner?”

Tommy’s body stiffened, but before Bobby could step in to aid his man, Tommy did so for himself. “Uncle Tony, I planned on cooking for us tonight and your style of restaurants are way too fancy for me. You know that.”

Uncle Tony smiled and shrugged. “Had to try. I had Tiny take my bags to the East Wing like usual. Won’t be in your way. Going to shower and then go find me a hottie tonight.”

The house had wings? Oh boy. What was he doing here? This was not his world. He did not fit in among limos. Invites to fancy dinners. He was a down to earth, paycheck to paycheck type of guy. Tommy told him he was to, but he had money at the snap of the finger. He told him that as well. Tommy would get tired of him faster than a rabbit hopped in for Easter to deliver the eggs then faded away for another year. Bobby wanted more from Tommy. His mind knew that. Him and Tommy had not gone further than kissing, but Bobby’s mind, body and soul craved Tommy. Not just his body, but his voice. His eyes. His sweet sexy face. Those cute inward dips that shined through his tight shirts. He wanted the man that longed to live from check to check, even though he had money.

“Bobby, you with me?”

For as long as he’d have him. He’d take the hurt that would be left in Tommy’s wake when he left. “Ready to cook me some amazing food?”

“Yes, if you still want me to. I understand if you want to leave.”

They topped the stairs, pausing before entering the house.

“Why would I do that?” Bobby opened the door and waved him inside.

Tommy led them down a off white hallway with cherry hardwood floors that glistened from fresh vanish. His arms were tight at his side. His eyes kept flashing yellow. As he waved at the table and island his fingers shifted to claws.

“Chose a seat if you want.”

Bobby went over to the island, tugging out one of the heave iron framed chairs and sat. He spread his legs and snagged Tommy’s arms as he made to walk to the other side of the island. “We do not chose our family.” He pulled Tommy between his legs, kissing him gently once then licked his lower lip, nipping  and sucking away the sting. Tommy’s mouth parted, giving Bobby the opportunity to slip inside the heat of his warm mouth.

Exploration of one’s mouth had never triggered his muscled to loosen to the point they felt like noodles, but he did not lose his tight hold on Tommy. His cock did not lessen either. It hardened more and Bobby knew Tommy did not miss it pressed against his stomach. The kiss held so much fire and excitement that what had been meant to ease Tommy’s wolf’s fears of being left had only revved up Bobby’s wolf, making Bobby have to talk him back from the precipice of taking and claiming the man that he desired as his own. Bobby agreed with his wolf, but he also knew that Tommy and his wolf needed time to figure out if he wanted Bobby and his wolf.

“Now,” Bobby leaned his forehead against Tommy’s after ending the kiss, letting Tommy regain his breath. “Tell your wolf that Bobby, the man you are working on a relationship on with, wolf’s name is Cal and he’d like to meet him.”

Tommy brushed his forehead against his a couple of times then his eyes shined yellow and a gruff voice flowed from him. “Hi, Cal. My name’s Stay. Can we get to know each other while they do?”

“Sure, Stay. I would love that. For now, let’s calm down so they can relax.”

Bobby tightened his hold on Tommy as his wolf faded all the way into the background, leaving behind a limp young man who buried his face in the shirt of the man holding him tight.

“Thanks for teaching me that.”

Bobby doubted many people taught Tommy much about his wolf. He’d be glad to teach him more as they grew together. “Our wolves know one another now and are on the same page as us. It will help settle us both.” He tightened his hold on Tommy as he snuggled deeper into him. “You ready to - -”

The windows rattled as Bobby tucked himself over Tommy, pressing him to the floor. He caught sight of a red streak racing skyward through the kitchen window that overlooked the front yard. He wasn’t sure what, but something had exploded.

“Tommy!”

Nothing was raining down on them, so Bobby let Tommy up. “Let your Uncle know you are alright. I’ll see if we need the fire department.”
