Chapter 30 Part 1

Javis hit play on the rented new release he’d just purchased from Prime. He wasn’t sure what it was. His attention had been on Enapay and the way he nipped his lower lip as he studied over the thousand of choices for them to choose from. Each time those pearly whites made an appearance on Enapay’s thin, pink lower lip his cock throbbed and his mind screamed for him to sucked that sweet lower lip between his own teeth, giving Enapay a true insight into what it felt like to have someone nip their lower lip.

The Halloween theme music began to play, having him jerk his head up. Had he really just paid to rent a movie he owned? He was just about to ask Enapay what he’d decided on, when Enapay came over and took the seat beside him, lifting the arm that would have separated them.

“If I’m going to watch the newest Halloween movie then I’ve got to be cuddled up.”

He was more than game for that. He opened his arm and let Enapay slid right up against his side. He brought his arm down over Enapay’s shoulder, letting his hand rest over his collar bone. Enapay snaked one arm around his waist and turned so he sat on the side of his hip with his body facing Javis’ as he laid his head on my chest.

Wow! What an intimate pose? Sure not the way he’d expected the first date to go. Wasn’t complaining. Wonderful . . . didn’t describe how it felt to hold the one that held your heart in their hands. Odd as that sounds, one person really indeed hold a Vampire’s life in their hands. A Heart Owner was the one that fate gave a Vampire to spend their entire life with. That one person held the . . . sanity of sorts of the Vampire in their hands. If the two come face to face together the Vampire could be totally broken in half for the rest of his life if the Heart Owner rejects him. If the Heart Owner accepts him and dies at some point in time then the Vampire could go mad if he did not choose suicide. It was that reason alone that most Vampire will change their Heart Owner into a Vampire. Never against their will, but most Heart Owners understand the reason for the request and greatly accepts it to ensure the safety of the one that they love, care for, chose to devote their entire life to and fate deemed to be theirs. There are the few times like with Alexander that the Heart Owner makes a request to hold off until a certain age to be changed, but before that date comes . . . Life altering destruction occurs. The Heart Owner died. Or was killed, like in Alexander’s case. No matter how much Vampires despised the idea of having to face that one day they would be without their Heart Owner, many find themselves in such a state. State of madness. Ready for death. It is rare to find a Vampire who has lost their Heart Owner to death that survives with a sense of reality. Alexander . . . If it had not been for Javis he would have requested the Royal Blood Society stake him for his own good. Javis could remember the day that Alexander came to him with that intent in mind. Javis had refused to hear his plea for a Royal Blood Society meeting. Told him that he would not allow his best friend face death when there was a chance that they could bring him back from the brink. And together the two of them managed to give Alexander a decent life. Not a completely full one, but one where he does not wish death every day. It had taken them secluding themselves for years and doing many deep mental dives into Alexander’s mental thoughts and reasoning behind them and what Alexander’s Heart Owner would have wished for him to have done. After ten years of seclusion, they began to mingle among Vampires again. Took another twenty decades before they managed to get Alexander in the same space as a human. He still did not mingle among them much, but he tolerated them now whereas to start with . . . his mind demanded he kill each and everyone of them. It had been a hard road back to a semi-balance of a decent life, but together they had done it. And Javis knew if and when the day that something took Enapay from him . . . Alexander would return the favor for him. Would he be strong enough to come back from loosing Enapay? Could he manage to be as successful as Alexander? Or would it depend on what had taken Enapay from him.

“What’s wrong?” Fingers trailed over his abdomen. “You are all stiff. Are you uncomfortable?”

Javis squeezed Enapay closer to him and lowered his lips to the side of his head, placing a light kiss. “Never. Anytime you are near me I am in heaven.” Lame, but truth.

“Then what is bothering you?”

“Let my mind wonder to the past.”

“I’m a good listener, if you need to talk.”

Wasn’t going to tell him what fear lurked to life and how it could affect me. What Alexander had gone through was his story to tell. Not his.

“Past is gone. Let’s just be here.” And it was time to take that advice.

Javis lifted Enapay’s chin with his index finger and lowered his head. Time seemed might as well have gone into slow motion. Neither of them rushed to reach the other ones’ lips, but when theirs touched . . . Sparks. Fireworks. Baseball over the wall feeling exploded throughout him. Mind loosing control consumed him as kaleidoscopes of colors zeroed in on him as Enapay’s sweet aroma consumed every pore of his skin.

His cock plumped, throbbing faster than his heart beat, which had to be going at least a thousand and one miles a minute. His chest felt as if someone had been tap dancing on it for a week. His clothing seemed to be squeezing in on him. An ache formed deep in his heart as it flared to life with each breath he consumed of his Heart Owner’s.

“I’m on fire.” Enapay panted between tiny kisses.

“You best stop me, or . . .” Both my arms wrapped around him, tugging him further onto my lap.
